Adding Attachments and Accessories

Picture
Custom power wheelchairs for ALS patients are designed to accommodate respiratory and communication devices.

Ventilators can be mounted onto the back of the chair and can either run on their own battery or be plugged into the chair’s battery. Speech-generating devices, computers, and tablets can be mounted onto the front of your chair.

Trays and hooks on the back of the chair can be used for carrying personal items like bags and backpacks. You can also add additional accessories like cupholders and hydration stations, though you will need to pay for those out of pocket.
